Is your reception area too quiet? Need a way to jazz up your atmosphere? Luckily, you can liven things up by using your TV to play background audio.
Before playing any music in public, be sure to read up on the local laws regarding music licensing. Make sure you have the correct licensing or permissions to play the music in a public space. Most streaming services are only intended for personal use.
When you are ready to start adding music, go to the Channels tab in your portal, and then select whichever channel you are currently running on your screen.
On the right-hand side, select the “Background Audio” button. Alternatively, you can use the dropdown menu in the top-left to select the “Background Audio” zone.
Click the “Add Content” button.
You can add app instances with audio, or MP4 and MP3 videos that you have uploaded yourself, and they will run audio in the background without showing any video.
When you are done, click the “Publish” button to save and apply your changes.
